Celebrating Fearlessness on International Women’s Day 2025

Every year on 8th March, the world comes together to celebrate International Women’s Day, recognising the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality. This International Women’s Day is especially meaningful for us as it marks the first one since we launched Fearless Girls Club! We are so proud of everything we’ve built so far and excited for all that’s still to come. (Interesting side note: If you’re wondering why it’s celebrated on 8th March, it’s because that was the date of a women's strike in Petrograd (now St. Petersburg) in Russia in 1917 – the strike was part of the Russian Revolution and helped secure women's suffrage.)

This year’s theme, Accelerate Action, is a powerful call to push forward, break barriers and drive real change for gender equality. Progress only happens when we take bold and consistent action. That’s why, through our weekly club sessions (and the imminent launch of our Fearless Girls Club subscription box), we are building a formidable movement where girls are equipped to step up with confidence and take up space in the world.

From history-changing activists to today’s trailblazers, fearless women have paved the way for us. But the journey is far from over. Inequality still exists and barriers still stand in the way of girls reaching their full potential. That’s why the work we do at Fearless Girls Club is so important. Every discussion we have about resilience, every skill we build and every challenge we tackle together is a step toward a future where girls are empowered to know their worth and thrive.

So, this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the fearless girls of today who will become the fearless women of tomorrow. We encourage every girl to be bold, take risks and elevate each other. Because when girls own their power and unite, there’s nothing they can’t achieve.
